With a rich tapestry of experience woven across a distinguished career, I bring a wealth of insights and leadership to the helm. My journey commenced at General Electric (GE), where I embarked on a transformative pilgrimage through their leadership program. Over the course of my tenure, spanning multiple countries, I gained diverse and extensive experience across various facets of Information Technology. A pivotal chapter in my professional narrative unfolded at Genworth Financial, where I embraced escalating responsibilities, ultimately ascending to the role of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a significant subsidiary. In 2008, I stood at the forefront of innovation in the Insurance industry, being among the earliest adopters of the cloud—an initiative that marked a paradigm shift in our operational landscape. Eager to share my expertise on a broader scale, I ventured into consulting. Notably, my journey led me to Microsoft, where I played an instrumental role in shaping and expanding their Insurance industry practice. This phase not only deepened my understanding of cutting-edge technologies but also fueled my passion for driving industry-wide innovation. Taking a bold entrepreneurial stride, I assumed the role of President at an Insurance brokerage, steering the company through strategic growth and operational excellence. This foray into small business ownership fortified my commitment to fostering agility and innovation within the corporate landscape. Finally, fueled by a vision for transformative IT solutions, I founded Acuvi Global Technology —a culmination of my experiences, insights, and unwavering commitment to delivering excellence in the IT consulting arena. Urvish B – Co-Founder and CFO
Urvish Bosmaya, a seasoned entrepreneur and commerce graduate from Narsee Monjee College, entered the business arena with a family legacy in corrugated boxes manufacturing. While actively contributing to the success of the family business, Urvish concurrently ventured into entrepreneurship by founding his commercial civil and interior contracting company. Over 21 years, Urvish played a pivotal role in expanding and optimizing operations in the family’s corrugated boxes company, implementing efficient production measures and cultivating enduring client relationships. In parallel, his entrepreneurial spirit led to the establishment and growth of a successful commercial civil and interior contracting venture. In 2020, Urvish brought his wealth of experience to the role of Fractional CFO at TAP Innovations, a Dallas-based startup. As the financial steward, he leveraged his expertise in strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to guide the startup’s financial trajectory. Urvish’s adaptability and commitment to financial excellence contributed significantly to TAP Innovations’ success.
